A year and a half to go
For my 100 years anniversary
But Fate is a treacherous foe
And time is a formidable adversary

I was fed by death
Without a mother I was born
A month after my brother’s breath
My parents became well known

My will does reach the cloud
And my pawns can’t swerve
Imprisoned In a golden shroud
And their subjects still blindly serve

What I loudly preach
Their wealth is mine by God
And between what they can reach
Lays massacres, wars and blood

Revolution on top of revolutions
That I have seen decay
Summits, Panels and solutions
But the veto voted nay

Today blasphemy reek
And it is getting out of hand
Of a caliphate they speak
To reunite the land

They say I’ll die next year
And my brother will follow
Their lies I must not fear
And their words they’ll swallow

But what drove them mad
Something must have gone wrong
Simple naive nomads
Have grown too strong

Their money I spent wisely
I have given them life
So exciting and lively
Bombs, golden chains and strife

Occupations I have clarified
But they do not understand
Massacres I have justified
And still right here they stand

Now the crazed are multiplying
Every day and night
And the peaceful are dyeing
Beheaded left and right

Soon humanity will hide
And the end will begin
All sides will soon collide
For what they cannot win

Who would I fool?
What would I cherish?
Who would I rule?
When they all die and perish

Dear Lord Forgiveness I ask
And mercy I hope you’ll show
On my brother Balfour pact
And myself Sykes–Picot

Veto power, a blessing or a curse ? ext.

veto

‘’ VETO’’ a Latin word for ‘’ I  forbid ‘’ a word that was created during an era of false pride in might, power, race or religion , an era plagued by slavery imperialism and colonization an era where men were enslaved by theories that became beliefs .

The veto system power within the United nation UN was given to the major powers at the time , countries and empires that wore the colonization badge proudly or was a victor at the time or perhaps was feared due to assets or numbers ,According to Wikipedia this system was created to ensure that no action will be taken against any member of the united nation security council UNSC which in return sustains the membership and participation of those major powers.

That being said most countries adopted the veto systems within their systems to ensure that some actions can be rejected and sometimes this power was given to a position or a group , yet with time the Veto system began to lose weight and became an outcast within democratic systems yet sadly the veto system have won its most important within the international umbrella  it’s hypocrisy spreads deep within the roots of the USCN ofcours with the consent of the courtiers that have rejected the same Veto system in their own countries.

For many years the us was demonized by must Islamic countries for using it’s Veto right more than 36 times to stop any UN resolution against Israel  even if it was guilty of what it is being accused of, that bias gave extremist a rich play ground for recruitment to revolt against their governments in the name of religions or national interests or ”the enemy of my enemy is my alley” those recruitment banners gave terrorist groups a strong foothold in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Somalia etc and strengthened extremist governments such as Iran and as we see now in this so called Arabian spring Islamic power is raising to the top in elections cause people think Islam is the only thing that will put things back in their place and have the courage to stand to major powers to restore old unity and glory days, yet the way I see it is most existing systems or group have a hidden agenda and if they are not in bed already with major powers then they are flirting with them then on the other hand we have the fanatics, now lately with the Syrian tragedy we see China and Russia blocking actions against the dictator system in Syria of course to protect their last fort in the area and to get back in the international theater and apparently so far they are winning this round and making sure they split the spoils of battle like what the other countries did in Iraq and Libya and only god knows what Russia is given to look the other way while the alliance strikes inside Syria .

The resolution

The veto system is a dictatorship system regardless how nice it seems within in it’s veins u can hear the screams of victims screaming ‘’it’s for the greater good’’ and if people that goes by it and wields it on the international level have rejected it within their own systems then why should we accept it and why should they enforce it upon others, and if history have taught us something it would be that empires does age and perish power does shift and change and the victor of today is the victim of tomorrow and through all those phases it Is only the average person like you and I that pays the price and be the victim of the winds of change.

Is the veto system the most needed greater good system and it shall remain or is the veto system is only there to protect the interests of the major powers?

Blood of the sacred and blood of the damned

A title of an old video game yet it should be the title of the past 20 years o freedom how much we do in thy name.

As I always say the term freedom and yes not ‘’ word’ but term for no one can agree to what it means and even a 10 years old can debate its obligation and responsibilities and if he/she is lucky they might actually win the debate or end up in a stalemate .

The tragedy of 911 have passed 3000 human soul were taken that tragedy resulted in two more wars the war in Afghanistan which resulted in 50000 deaths and counting plus a foothold or a thorn in china and Russia’s back then the Iraq war which was in the name of freeing people, weapons of mass destruction and terrorism ties and resulted in 1.5 million deaths millions of currency in oil and armament contracts and handing the country on a golden plate to one of the most extreme country in the region ‘’ Iran ‘’ then the winds of the Arabian spring marched through the region swallowing Libya, Tunisia, Egypt and Syria.

In Tunisia the revolution didn’t last long before taking control of the country and had a peaceful transition aside from few clashes same for Egypt yet took longer  and didn’t result in a huge number of human casualties , Libya which is a rich country of oil and natural gas that supplies the western camp regardless of all the bans enforced on Libya, when the revolution started major powers jumped in the name of freedom and fighting the evil power they were in bed with a year before that and it is really obvious that they jumped to split the cake regardless of the people and it shows more with Syria especially when we see the governing forces were committing a lot of crimes against humanity according to the un resulting in a toll death of plus 60000 deaths and still nobody is marching in Syria freeing the people because Syria is a poor country no natural resources and further more protected by other major powers.

To conclude you and I regardless of our race or religion we do have a price tag and my death might equal to the death of 1000 others in the eye of whom is in control or that my freedom is protected by what I can give or what I am sitting on or that my freedom and life doesn’t even worth the bullet that will take away my life again in the eyes of the people in control and having the power.

That’s exactly why generation grow up with hatred toward major powers a generation that saw nobody jumped to help them when they needed it the most thus they develop love toward groups that opposes major powers regardless of why and how might take advantage of that nourish it to make a ticking bomb with nothing to lose out of what could have been a productive member of a society.

This hypocrisy takes us way back to the age of fighting for or to secure resources yet in the past they were open about it now they just do it in the name of nobility, Mandela once answered when asked what is the difference between racists in America and in south Africa by saying ‘’ cant recall the exact words ‘’I respect the racists in my country because they say things to my face.

Stripping freedom and democracy

Freedom, freedom and democracy, independence, liberty, Stripping freedom and democracy

Out of naivety I used to believe that democracy is what we were taught in school ‘’ middle eastern schools excluded ‘’, read about in the newspaper, a book, or heard about it from someone you know. And most of what I heard or read highlighted Freedom as the base of democracy and that was even a bigger puzzle.

As the time passes I grew curious of the true definition of democracy and freedom I knocked on every door possible in my quest to define ‘’ freedom’’ I prepared myself for battle as if this quest was a matter of life and death I armored myself with a cup of coffee and a BB king record and turned on my computer and went straight to Google and in my search I came across some interesting definitions such as :-

1-      Freedom, independence, liberty refer to an absence of undue restrictions and an opportunity to exercise one’s rights and powers. Freedom  emphasizes the opportunity given for the exercise of one’s rights, powers, desires, or the like (1)

2-      the Four Freedoms speech by Franklin D. Roosevelt proposed four fundamental freedoms that people “everywhere in the world” ought to enjoy (freedom of speech and expression, freedom of worship, freedom from want, freedom from fear) (2)

3-      Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen of France dated August 26, 1789 had 17 points to cover the topic. (3)

4-      One definition says ( the freedom of an individual starts where the freedom of the other individual ends)

The more I read the more confused I got because when these lovely nice well written words are applied and tested in reality you simply find that freedom is governed by laws which are usually manipulated by the person or the group in power and wither it’s been manipulated for a personal gain or to satisfy the majority these manipulations reveals that there are huge holes either in the definition or suggests that the term ‘’ freedom ‘’ is an old wive’s tale, an urban legend or a myth.

Mankind can’t be satisfied this is a fact that drives nations to change laws they held on to for generations sometime for the good sometime for the worse and sometimes for the greater good, let us take an example ‘’ entertainment ‘’ let us begin with the Roman empire gladiators the sport started as man Vs man controlled not so violent then progressed to extreme endings with severing or killing furthermore it progressed to Man Vs beast etc then it was banned cause it was inhumane and barbaric now mankind is heading down that same old lane slower but getting there with boxing and wrestling progressing to extreme cage fights which will eventually progress to the same end under the influence of sick minded people and I am sure it will be legalized, now the question is if the majority wanted such entertainment does that democratize such act?

That question haunted me for a 2 cups worth of coffee and invoked other questions such as:

1-      Can freedom be enforced on nations by waging wars?

2-      Is one nation’s freedom more valuable than the another?

3-      Can freedom and democracy be globalized?

4-      Human rights why the most democratic nations violates them often?

Sadly it will take books and books to answer such questions and as a result of the above, the events and conflicts that took place in the past 30 years I believe that democracy is a form of dictatorship practiced by the majority over the minority as for freedom it is a myth yet my quest to find it or define it continues.
